I recently saw the final installment of Harry Potter 7-2.
I was expecting the same crap the last couple movies (at least 5 and 6) had been. I honestly dont remember much of 7 as I have only seen it once. Same for 6 but I REMEMBER that one was a load of crap.
However I came out of the movie pleasantly surprised. And happy. And sad. And filled with emotion. I nearly wept at the end of the movie knowing it was over for good. The series I grew up on that has been there for the past decade or so... gone. I didn't feel that way about Star Wars because that originated in the 70s.
Harry Potter... although I had made fun of it, I truly respect JK Rowling and all the work she did to bring a wonderful idea to life, and I thank the directors who made Goblet of Fire and Death Hallows so amazing.
It's a weird feeling something so close to ones heart end, and I began to imagine how it will be when one day Dark Dayz is made into a movie. I picture myself sitting in a screening of it and crying from joy. I probably will.
One day it will be made into a movie... and an official published novel.
It is so incredibly difficult to try and get it published on my own. No wonder JK Rowling was so down in the dumps when she wrote HP.
Wish me the best of luck, and Hopefully Dawn Trilogy will be coming to a theater near you in the next few years. All it takes is the right person reading it and liking it for that to happen.
Come on Tim Burton... LOL that would be amazing if he directed it.

Green Lantern 7/10 stars
So it has been a while since I have posted a review. I should do reviews on more than just movies.
I just finished reading the Hobbit and it was pretty cool. And I'm reading the Hunger Games now which is also really awesome.
Anyway Green Lantern. When I first saw the trailer... it looked terrible. I went in expecting the worst. But what do you know? I came out liking it for the most part. I am not a huge comic buff although I am getting into them now. I have bought one green lantern graphic novel and I will buy more soon to learn even more about Green Lantern. Most of what I have bought have been Marvel's Fear itself comics.
Overall Green Lantern was a good movie. It did have things that were corny or VFX that weren't the most amazing, but the story wasn't half bad. It was weird seeing Sanestro... given the history of such, but I understand it was an origin movie so the sequel will be much better. And yes at least stay for the first part of the credits.
Well you should ALWAYS stay till the end of the credits out of respect.
The story was not amazing. The VFX were pretty cool most of the movie. But I love the idea of a Super Hero whose power comes from pure will (well yeah the ring and lantern...) but willpower and the overcoming of fear. I could totally see myself being a Green Lantern...
"In brightest day... in blackest night............."

Movie Review: I am Number Four 4.9/5
So this time folks I am reviewing a movie I saw in theaters that was made based on a book by the extra terrestrial, Pittacus Lore.
The previews were as follows:
Red Riding Hood (Wanna see)
Cowboys & Aliens (Wanna see)
X-men First Class (Wanna see)
Real Steel (Hell no)
Battle L.A. (Wanna see)
Thor (Wanna see)
So the book... AMAZING. 6/5. Made me laugh, made me cry. Made me feel joy, and made me feel fear.
A great work. Although it's written in first person perspective, PRESENT TENSE. I know, weird, right? But it is by an other worlder.
SO the movie... AMAZING as well. 4.9/5. I can't give it a 5 in all good will because of a certain scene that made me cry in book that I barely cared about in the movie. Other than that it stuck pretty close to the story of the actual novel.
The first twenty minutes I was... having a difficult time being fair. I had to shut off the part of my brain that had read the book and force myself not to judge it on that. The book is ALMOST always better, save, Scott Pilrgrim vs. the World. Haha.
But I'm telling you, for a teen fiction, pg-13 movie about good and bad ETs, leaving mankind stuck in the middle, it was pretty DAMN good.
I wanted the perspective of someone who had never read the book, and that was my girlfriend. She loved it.
I was worried she would be bored, but she wasn't. I heard some people in the theater complaining but they were annoying assholes that were talking through the whole movie to begin with.
There were 9. The Mogdorian's caught Number One in Malaysia, Number Two in England, Number Three in Kenya... John Smith, of Paradise, Ohio is Number Four. He knows that he is next.
Ah a great book, a great movie, and I can not wait for the second book, The Power of Six (August 23, 2011).
Movie over Harry Potter, and Twilight, a new series is in the house to rock the world.
This series is a warning from a Lorien elder to prevent the end of our world like the end of his.
Let the fight begin.

Movie Review: The Fourth Kind 5/5
Extra-terrestrial encounters
1 seeing
2 evidence
3 contact
4 abduction
Ancient Sumerian... Yeah... the most ancient language there is.
Do you believe in aliens? I don't like to call them aliens. But I believe in them.
Have any of you ever had any of these kinds of encounters...?
Don't be afraid to tell me. I wont judge you.
This movie was actually great. It may have been all fabricated perhaps, but is it not believable?
Is it so hard to believe that the truth is out there? That somewhere out there in this universe there may be intelligence life?
Well let me tell you... statistically speaking there HAS to be life out there. The universe is just to damn big. And then the multi-verse is even bigger...
In this movie, it was suggested through facts, that Extra-Terrestrials have been visiting our planet for thousands and thousands of years. Of course they have. Have you not seen the tablets with carvings of spaceships? Men in space suits? Etc? These were all created by intelligent beings other than just humans. Other kinds of humanoids.
Can you deny their existence by looking at everything in this world that doesn't make sense? Well... it has been suggested for a while that the gods have all been aliens. Every single supernatural being is related to each other in some way.
Actually... just because I write novels about angels and demons, and gods doesn't mean I believe they are from Heaven and Hell. I believe in fact, if anything, that they are from other worlds. Extra-Terrestrials.
Scientists say that it's impossible for them to be on Earth. But they are wrong. They are here.
I have had an encounter of the first kind. I haven't told many about this, but once, I saw a star split into six different stars and then spin in a circle and go back into one single star. How the hell did it happen? Weather balloons? I think not.
The Fourth Kind made A LOT of sense. I, myself, believe in it. SO with that being said, I think Milla Jovovich did a good job, as did the other actors in this movie. The video evidence was creepy as hell. I jumped a few times actually. The audio... the ancient Sumerian language being spoken by the unknown entities... It's all so... real.
You may think I am insane, but I don't care. I believe. I also believe aliens pose as Gods, and always have. That's where the human race got the idea for religion to begin with.
"I....AM....GOD..."
Creepy movie... great movie. See it if you believe... and see it if you don't, and then perhaps you WILL believe.
Until next time... try not to have any encounters of the 4th kind....

Movie Review: My Girlfriend's Boyfriend 5/5
When my girlfriend decided she wanted to watch a movie and it was her turn to choose I was like, “Oh no”. Why? Because of Black Swan. That movie was just disturbing! >_<
ANYway, she chose My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend to stream on Netflix.
I was really tired and it was like 1am, but I was trying my best to stay awake.
When Netflix wasn’t working on her mac, I began to pass out.
But she rescued the day by using her Ipad to stream it. I was confused what was going on in the first fifteen minutes or so, and then it started making sense.
Throughout the whole movie I had was annoyed of a character’s behavior.
But lemme tell you, the ending was so amazing it switched my entire opinion around, and it earned a 5/5 stars on my Netflix account from me.
I really enjoyed it.
The movie also made me have hope because it was basically about a girl choosing between two writer’s. A writer who wasn’t able to get published and had given up, and a commercial writer who was very successful.
I identified greatly with the geeky writer guy, Ethan, who wasn’t able to get published, as that is the situation I am in right now.
It starred Alyssa Milano, and was produced by her as well.
I advise this movie as a date night kind of rental. So watch it with your significant other.
I usually don’t like chick-flickish movies, but lo and behold, I loved it.
